Teeny Coin Purse--Sailing Ship

This fresh seafaring coin purse would be a little gift unlike anything that came before (er, unless you regularly give Bonspiel stuff). I started with sweet pearlescent turquoise leather that I screenprinted with a setting sun and brown sailing ship. The tab is leather with embossed Bonspiel in rainbow colors. The zipper is lime(y)! No scurvy here.
It's unlined and measures 3 3/8 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches tall by 1/2 inch thick. In centimeters, that's 8.6 by 7cm tall by 13mm thick.

These little purses are so fun to make! They are all different kinds of leather, sometimes the backs and fronts are different leathers, I kind of loosened up on these little guys, raided the scrap bucket and just had fun. A lot of them are one-of-a-kind. They close with zippers that run around the sides a bit so it's easy to get your fingers into them--kind of like a miniature suitcase.
