Copper Shaggy Loops Earrings with Aqua Beads

Description

These chainmaille (chainmail) earrings were handmade by winding copper wire into a coil. I then sawed the coil into individual rings and wove them in a pattern known as Shaggy Loops or Flip Flop. I added frosted aqua glass seed beads to some of the rings to give them a fun splash of color. The earrings were then oxidized to give them a golden brown patina and attached to handmade copper earwires.

These earrings measure approximately 1 ¾ (4.4 cm) inches from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the earring.

These earrings are very lightweight and move with you when you wear them.
