Felt Wall Art - Map

Description

I'm really excited about this piece! It resembles some kind of abstract map.

I make all of my wall hangings using the wet felting method.

I used wool locks in this piece which have held their curl nicely. It gives the piece much more dimension in comparison to other simply flat felt pieces.

This piece measures approximately 16 1/2" x 19".
The edges are raw and organic.

Emerald green is the dominant background color, with some pools of teal, grayish green, brilliant yellow and spots of saturated red.

This piece is hung from a wooden dowel that has been attached to the back. This way you can still see and appreciate the naturally uneven edges.
