Felt Wall Art - Primitive

Description

This piece has a primitive feeling. The overall shape is raw and organic.

I make all of my wall hangings using the wet felting method.

I feature wool locks in this piece which have really held their curl and shape. It gives the piece much more dimension in comparison to other simply flat felt pieces.

This piece measures approximately 8" x 8".

Deep blue is the dominant background color with some black horizontal streaks. The locks are shades of peach and aqua.

This piece is hung from a wooden dowel that has been attached to the back. This way you can still see and appreciate the naturally uneven edges.
