I rarely create realistic work any more but have to admit I have a secret passion for it. It is extremely enjoyable to lose one's self deeply in the act of looking. I like to capture moments of stillness in my realistic work and I love to work gray on gray. It reminds me a bit of moonlight.

This image was exhibited in 2005 in the Durham Art Council, "Our House" show in Durham NC as well as in Caswell County's 30th Annual Juried Show 2008, Caswell County Civic Center, Yanceyville NC.
