Now that I've begun creating jewelry inspired by characters and themes from Harry Potter (and other fiction, just wait!), it's hard not to see possibilities everywhere. That is certainly what happened the moment we spotted the beautiful painted porcelain bead making up the focal point of this simple yet elegant bangle. The porcelain, imported from China, has delicate flowers in a blue that would make any Ravenclaw proud. We, of course, thought of the lovely and emotionally fragile Cho Chang.

The bracelet consists of the chunky white-and-blue porcelain, paired with sapphire Swarovski bicones and freshwater pearls. The beads are set amidst silver-plated tubes to create an elegant bangle that fastens with a simple toggle.
