Rare 1938 Farm Toy Animals

What a rare find! Encased in the original box, this Milton Bradley toy set packs a lot of vintage fun into one area. There are dozens of animals, a fence and a background. This set has been played with, which it should have been, but most pieces are in very good vintage condition, with only scuffs to show their age, though there is a horse with a taped leg, the fences have some bent parts, and there are a number of stands missing. Pieces include two each of a donkey, cow, horse, calf, goat, sheep, dog, cat, rabbit, dog, rooster, goose, duck and more. You can read the description on the inside of the box which explains how they were made.
This would be a great way to introduce the farm to your child, and would also be a stunning start to a project used as ephemera.
The pieces range in size from the horse, standing about 7" high, to the cat, which is about one inch high. As a grouping, this is quite the large collection!
