Ever look up at night sometimes, and let your mind wander?Before telescopes, before Lipperhey, and Galileo, what did people see when they looked up?
Here's a tiny daydream, set in wood.
the lid carved by my hand.
The box made from scratch as well, from half-inch-thick solid oak.
I will admit to using a storebought hinge, since i don't have a kiln.. yet.
this is simple box, methinks, but clean, and strong, a solid heft in the hand, and a timeless wood.
The box is 11.5 inches long, by 6.5 inches wide. It is 5.5 inches tall
I think it might do well to hold a few trinkets and treasures, and jots of inspiration.
