Upcycled handbag OOAK

Description

This funky handbag used to be a mens shirt. This shirt got fed up with being a shirt and was hanging in the thriftstore waiting for something exciting to happen. Maybe you can make this handbags life even more exciting by taking it to places it has never seen, being a mens shirt and all. It has become a really handy little bag for a night on the town, for a dinnerparty or all these other exciting occasions when you just need some money, keys, make-up, cellphone, cards and tissues ;)

I incorporated the buttonclosure on the frontside, where I replaced the boring buttons by these cute rubyred ones. On the backside the breastpocket is still there. I reused a faux leather belt for the handles. Lining is made from rubyred cotton with little white and beige flowers. Interfaced to make sturdy.

Size is approx. 20x22 cm (7.9 x 8.7")
