Hi! ........ a specific thought of summer, bears and watermelons! Each square has a bear within, and all the squares give the quilt an overall star pattern. Each of the stars was meticulously pieced in a half square triangle paying special attention to the directional fabric. It is densely quilted with cotton batting. The fabric is a Theresa Kogut line and is out of print now. The border fabric coordinates with the center bear panels that are inside the stars.The binding is a striped watermelon that was also included in this line of fabric. I included a photo of the border and the backing. This would be the perfect Kid quilt...or an "I wanna be a kid again" quilt.
Measures approximately 60 x 88 inches. It is so soft and snuggley!
My artistic abilities do not carry over to photography. The photos do not depict this quilt in all of it's cutey glory!
