If you have children or know children or ever see children, you know that jewelry attracts them like moths to a flame. Often with broken, weeping results. Faced with this universal dilemma, I have designed truly kid-proof necklaces. A knitted necklace that will not break; it will not break into the small pieces that small children enjoy putting up their noses.

This is an accessory that can withstand tugging, chewing, and biting. My daughter plays with mine when I am holding her and other times she just wants to wear her own.

This necklace is made of bamboo yarn. Sustainable fibers are becoming more and more important and so many wonderful things can be made with them ... including childproof jewelry. This particular yarn is recommend to be washed by hand rather than in a machine, but it is pretty easy to wash something so small! It is stuffed with organic cotton.

There is no end and no beginning.
