Datura and Armillary Globe - Original acrylic Painting 18 x 22 inches

Description

This is a painting of the Datura flower that opens at night. I like to go out and watch them open and smell their heavenly odor. The armillary globe is one of my favorite pieces of garden art.

The painting is 18 x 22 inches [46 x 56 cm.] and is painted on stretched canvas with the staples on the back, not the sides. The image is painted on the sides of the canvas and it is wired and ready to hang. No frame is needed, although you could have it framed if you desire.

The dark blue of the night sky sets off the lovely white flowers.

Signed by the artist, Kate Ladd. I have shown paintings in galleries in Chicago, Santa Fe, and here in the Triangle area of North Carolina, and they have been purchased by happy buyers throughout the United States.
