I've finally gotten to use my Liver of Sulfur (LOS) and I'm hooked. I love the beautiful patina LOS brings out in sterling silver jewelry. Depending on the length of time spent in LOS, the color can be a light yellow, to pink, red, blue, gray, and black. Once the desired oxidation level is achieved, each piece is tumbled again and buffed to create a multi-toned effect.

This beautifully simple bracelet is made with 16 gauge sterling silver jump rings, woven in a Byzantine weave. It measures 8 inches in length and is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp. I dipped this piece in LOS several times to create a dark blue/gray color. The multiple tones are quite striking and unique.
