Sapphire Squiggle Earrings

Description

Delicate rosey pink sapphire briolettes and faceted pale blue iolite rounds drop from a sterling wire squiggle on each of these just under two-inch-long (from the top of the wire) earrings. The squiggle components are entirely hand formed (using only pliers) in 16g sterling wire they are hand-hammered for hardness and quite sturdy, but small and light enough that you won't even notice them dangling!

The sterling components hang from "fine silver" (99.99% pure) hand-crafted ear wires. Fine silver ear wires usually resolve the problem of sensitive ears because it doesn't have the base metals that cause the irritation. Fine silver is therefore softer, but hammering provides enough strength to hold its shape. These handmade wires can be exchanged for a sterling French wire if you prefer.
