The broadbills are one of the most primitive of the perching song birds. Their feet, like all Passerines, are developed to cling to branches or other object of similar design.
This female Black-and-Yellow broadbill sits solitary upon her branch waiting for the night to fall.

This collage pendant is one of my series, The World of Birds.
The image is set into a sterling silver pendant and sealed under a glassy clear resin.

Specifications:
Pendant is 30mm across.
