Late Again, she said to herself as she ran out the door. Luckily, she had another Market Tote from Pandys that held her handbag, lunch, workout clothes, towel and book and could just cram everything in and go. The moisture repellent lining would keep any spills to a minimum, and it just took a quick wipe with a damp cloth to clean it out.

Since her last date had been such a disaster, she had sworn off men and was hitting the gym for 2 hours every night. The 45 minutes on the stationary bicycle was giving her plenty of time to catch up on her reading. The rest of the time was devoted to weight training. Not only was she toning her body, but concentrating on her form and breathing was doing wonders for strengthening her mind as well.

How in the world had she missed the telling signs that her last boyfriend was going to be such a dud? When she opened the door and saw him holding flowers and a paper bag, she immediately thought wine. Nope. It held a bottle of barbecue sauce. He had sat down at the table, tucked his napkin into his shirt and proceeded to dump globs of the hideous sauce all over the dinner she worked so hard to prepare. He didn't even try it first. If that wasn't bad enough, he held his fork in his fist, chewed with his mouth open and totally ignored the napkin at his neck. Instead, he used the tablecloth. She didn't think the stains would ever come out. Then, the belching and the shoes on the coffee table. It took all of her willpower to not scream during dinner. Once she had cleaned up (no help from him) she faked a headache so he would leave. Actually, it wasn't much faking. He had been so pleasant, polite and witty on their other dates. But, they had been to a museum with no food or drink, a street fair, where finger food was the norm, and a concert.

As she walked to work, reveling in her new found enjoyment in her own company, she clutched her bag and smiled. This Market Tote has an outer layer of cotton canvas, interfaced on the inside for stability and a lining of ripstop nylon for moisture protection. A piece of Peltex in the bottom of the bag provides extra strength and stability. Bag measures 16 1/2 inches (42 cm) wide, 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) deep and 13 inches (33 cm) high. The handles are made from 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide cotton webbing and are stitched between the outer fabric and lining. The handles have been overstitched at each end for added durability.

Machine Wash cold, air dry. Spills can be wiped out with a damp cloth between washings.
