:: this textile pendant is made from turquoise silk which I smocked with black cotton thread - it makes me think of the black veins running through turquoise gemstone

I'm offering it at a lower price because it's one of two prototype pieces. I used silver plated wire instead of sterling silver and the copper in the wire shows a little bit at one place althought this is visible only on very close inspection. Apart from that it's the same quality as my other pendants.

:: it measures just over 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) in diameter

:: the chain is sterling silver and is 46 cm (18 inches) long; it closes with a handmade clasp

:: the pendant is light and soft; it can be gently hand washed

(the pocket sized moleskine contains sketches of shiny gemstones in bright, jewel-like colours. it is shown for scale and is not included in the listing ;)
