Encore - Artists' Book
Description
This is a copy of a piece of work exhibited at my final show for my Master's degree in Book Arts at the University of the Arts, London.The original book is a series of drawings on Japanese tissue paper. The repeated figure comes into and out of focus against an urban background.
I think I prefer this copy to the original. Printed on bible paper, it retains all the texture and translucence of the original. It looks to be creased and folded but the pages are perfectly flat.
