Leroux Apricot Brandy Ceratonia Siliqua Leaf

Description

This is for all you folks wondering about round leaves cut from the sides of liqueur bottles--a nice amber bottle from Leroux paired with a large--almost round--carob leaf. I luckily crossed paths with a lovely lady--enthusiastic and avid collector of ginkgo leaves and other exotic specimen--who bequethed this round leaf and an ethereal assortment of other strange and wonderful leaves of varying shapes, sizes and colors (okay...dropped off a boxful of leaves), into my leaf pile.

After cutting the sections of the leaves--tapping along to Roy Buchanan's Hot Wires...string bends--I solemnly copper foiled each piece--listening to Alisa Weilerstein playing Dvorak--and then--in silence--soldered all the pieces back together with a lead free solder.

The leaf measures approximately 4" wide by 3 1/2" long, with a spro ball bearing swivel included for the inevitable interaction with wind and motion...
