What a great little Shirley Temple inspired dress…The Cupcake dress!
This dress has wonderful puffed cap sleeves, with a light elastic around the cuff for a soft fit. The dress also sports small box pleats on the chest for a 30’s baby doll look, A-line fit and a lovely red cotton border around the neck. The back of the dress features, an opalescent button and loop closure for a more secure fit.
All seams are finished and the dress is hand hemmed.

The pattern on the fabric is what chocolate dreams are made of!
Rows of chocolate frosting swirls and chocolate cross-hatching are in between lines of raspberries, cherries, and sliced strawberries!! This is a dream dessert dress if ever there was one! I swear that every time I ironed it, it smelt of chocolate!
