Description
This is truly an immortal basic staple -- the button down collared shirt -- and yet it boasts a soft femininity and the unique style sensibility of the early 70s: moderately oversized collar, softly gathered button cuffs, optional ascot tie accessory.From the envelope:
"Misses' shirt and ascot tie: The top-stitched shirt with forward shoulder seams has front band button closing, collar and band, long set-in sleeves pleated to buttoned cuffs and slits in side seams. The shaped ascot tie has pointed ends."
The envelope is copyrighted 1973. The pattern is cut but all pieces are accounted for. Instruction sheet is present. The pattern and envelope are all in excellent condition for their age. (See scans.)
