aprox. 2 1/2" drop (from apex of earwire). variety of brass & pewter gingko leaves w/ gold plate chain as accent on gold-plate leverback earwires.

when john & i were looking for a house, we finally realized we couldn't afford anything where we lived (sf bay area) so we made the big move to my hometown to buy my parents' old "dream house"...we knew it had been neglected for 9 years and tho i wasn't expecting the prestine home i remembered as a child, i was shocked to see it so over-grown.

as i walked thru the yards, i found the place in the sidewalk where i placed my handprints & wrote "1970"...then i remembered a small moment in time when my dad said..."ellen, look at the corner of the fence..." AND there covered by debry & the neighbors overgrown tree branch was the gingko tree my dad had planted...i was finally home.
