A dreamy white tea with an exotic tropical fruit, hardly ever seen outside of Southeast Asia. Touted as one of the new "superfruits," Mangosteens give this blend a refreshingly sweet, melt-in-your-mouth quality. Not to be confused with Mangos ( in fact they are not related at all) the flavor is totally unique.

White Tea is a premium variety that is harvested only one or two days a year, thus the higher price. Only the very tip of the blossom on the tea plant is plucked and is not put through any fermentation process, therefore the leaves maintain their larger size and lighter color. When brewed it produces a tea very light in color, mild in flavor and low in caffeine.

Two oz. of White Tea yields 50 teaspoons or enough tea to make approximately 25 cups of tea, using 2 level teaspoons of loose tea for each 5 oz. cup. A cup is not a mug - a mug equals about 2 cups.

Bring water to just short of boiling and pour over leaves. Brew for just 3 minutes. This tea is so light it shouldn't be spoiled with the addition of milk but a tiny bit of sugar enhances the flavor.
