Redhead (sale) - oil painting on canvas
Description
This painting is the result of an Alchemy exchange I participated in last summer.The hardest part was picking an image to base the portrait on - it's tough when you've never met the person. So I started 2 paintings, one of which became the Alchemy piece, the other became the painting you see here.
I thought this one was awesome too, and the model agreed that I could list it. I love the big eyes and the red hair.
This piece is 4"x4" on 1 1/2" deep stretched, back-stapled canvas. The second image here (of my Stay Puts) illustrates the depth / dimensions of the canvas.
I owe the brilliant red to Williamsburg handmade Alizarin Crimson and Quinacridone Red. They're not paying me, I just think they're great.
