Blue and Orange Tokyo Whimsy White Bird Altered Matchbox With Nesting Treasures

I came across a stash of Origami paper I bought on a visit to Japan in 1997. This little matchbox is adorned with pretty peachy floral Origami paper all the way from Tokyo! The paper is distressed with brown ink and white vintage seam binding along with gold scrap daisies are wrapped around the box. A miniature white bird is perched in a blue vintage plastic flower with smaller orange vintage plastic flowers with blue pearl stamens. The best part of these matchboxes are the little "nesting" bits they hold. A small stash of bits and findings to collect or add to your own creations. The treasures inside are in the second picture. OOAK! A really nice gift for artsy friends!
