Munich's Catholic Church of St. Johann Nepomuk, better known as Asam Church, was built by two brothers as their private church. The Asam Church is one of the most splendid achievements of Bravarian late Baroque architecture. Every surface of the church is decorated with magnificent paintings, gold trim, or beautiful stonework.
