Purple Cider - acrylic painting on canvas

Description

A recent visit to Somerset, involving many varieties of cider, inspired this painting. Fiery orange and yellow at the bottom blend upwards into a deep dark purple. Flashes of pink run through both.

I've used a mixture of acrylic paints, on a canvas measuring 25.4cm (10") wide by 35.7cm (14") high, to create this artwork. The colours of these paints continue over the sides of the canvas on which this is painted. This give one continuous block of colour, meaning that this painting does not need to be framed. It does not, however, come ready to hang, but I can add hanging wire to the back if you wish, for no extra cost.
