Glass and Silver earrings by KD-W

These earrings are so very light. I have had the little glass beads in my collection of antique beads for years and every time I looked at them I wondered at the perfection of their shapes and the smallness... what did the Czech manufacturer have in mind when they were made? They were dirty, and had obviously been kept together in strands of the same size. I think perhaps they were worn by someone who danced in them in Africa... anyway, I put them together like this. The glass looks like Turquoise. I spaced them with little granulated silver disks, a touch of copper from Kenya and the little flirty silver "tongues." They are ready to be danced in again.... The length of the earrings without the French hooks is 1 1/2 inches. The widest little glass bead is 6 mm, Classy little things...
