Sometime-Soon cover

Description

In 1972, M- Comics turned down an idea from the USTA for a new series entitled "Sometime-Soon" which told stories about a team of super hero tennis players. This mock-up of the cover art is all that survives.

One can only imagine the stories that the could have told if the series had lasted. J. McEnroe, a human whose rage turned him into a gigantic hulking monster! The wonder twins Venus and Serena Williams. A thousand other tales languish unwritten and untold. Who knows, "Sometime-Soon" could have inspired the likes of Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, or Bret Favre to take up tennis instead of other sports; though they all seem to be just fine without tennis.
