Simplicity Necklace - Sea Foam Colored Sea Glass on Green Silk

Leonardo da Vinci once said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”This necklace is a good example of da Vinci's wise words. It's a superior piece of sea foam colored sea glass from the Caribbean strung on a single strand of handpainted green silk.
The sea glass is very unique, like a work of art from the sea. It has an elegant curve and when I was making this necklace I enjoyed twirling it around, watching it dance in the light.
I've tried to photograph the necklace in various ways to capture the color of the silk and the luminosity of the sea glass, but none of the photos really does justice to the piece. (Depending on your monitor, it may look more blue than green.)
The paint used to color the silk is ecologically responsible, non-toxic and safe. The silk is so soft on your skin and feels beautiful around your neck.
The necklace is 24". The silk cords are joined together with sliding knots so that the length of the necklace can be easily adjusted.
A simple sterling silver u-loop (our copyrighted design) adds the finishing touch.
A blue gift box made of recycled paper comes with the necklace.
A real gem of a necklace.
