Everything's Coming Up Roses

Description

This hat is one of my favorite that I've designed. You can't help but smile when you're wearing it & people can't help but smile back!

It's a black 'top hat' cloche with a rolled brim which can be rolled in many ways to your liking. I made this using a single crochet stitch with 2 strands of a warm acrylic worsted weight yarn. This is one of the reasons it keeps it's shape extremely well.

A rose tapestry ribbon done in claret, deep pink, sage, and white on a black background encircles the hat. There are 3 hand crochet roses on the hat which mimic the theme of the ribbon. A large pink rose, medium claret red, and a rosebud done in deep pink & claret red are all accented by six sage green crochet leaves. The upper portion of the hat has deep pink and claret red french knots for contrast. The flowers which are permanently secured on the right side of the hat add uniqueness to this one of a kind handmade wearable work of art.

This hat will fit an adult head size 20-22 inches easily.

To care for this item just hand wash it in cold water with delicate detergent, rinse it well, reshape as it's air drying.
