The Good Earth sea pottery and sterling silver necklace

Description

This piece of sea pottery, rescued from a Nova Scotia beach, is beautifully patterned and is bezeled in fine silver. The pottery or china measures 3/4" (2.0 cm) in length and 1 1/4" (2.5 cm) across. The pendant hangs on an 18" sterling silver ball chain (16, 18, 20 or 22" box chain may be substituted by request).

Sea glass, also known as beach glass or mermaid's tears, is nature's answer to bottles, china and pottery carelessly thrown into the sea many years ago. The glass is tumbled on the ocean floor, smoothed by the waves and sand until it washes up on shore, waiting to be found by a lucky passerby.
