Blue Origami Ornament Set

Description

Three 3.5 inch diameter ornaments decoupaged with decorative Japanese Washi Yuzen fiber paper overprinted with gold. Finished with water based sealant, and acrylic opalized glitter paint for a soft sheen, a metal filigree top with an eye hook, and a pretty ribbon (sometimes wired). Labor intensive work of love, each paper piece is cut into strips while leaving the paper whole, and then glued and shaped to a hollow but sturdy plastic ornament for a perfect fit.

These ornaments are wonderful as Christmas and holiday wreath and tree decor, and make sweet bowl or apothecary jar fillers for anywhere your home needs some colorful glow. Some designs work well all year 'round, too!
