English Leather Bottle (1QT)

Description

These vessels are made entirely by hand from the finest tooling leathers available. They are hand cut, dyed, stitched, and formed. Each vessel is hardened using an ancient process known as Cuir Bouilli and finished to the highest standard. The result is a very rigid, durable, and beautiful drinking vessel suitable for anything from daily use to SCA and renaissance reenactment.

This bottle features hand forged copper rings and a strap for carrying over the shoulder.

My vesssels are waterproofed on the outside with beeswax and inside with a food-safe resin. They can be used with *WARM* or cold beverages, including fruit juices and spirits (that normally dissolve natural finishes). However they can also be lined with beeswax or brewer's pitch upon request if you prefer a natural finish.

These vessels, made with skill and the finest craftsmanship are historically accurate for Medeival England in the time period 1300-1600AD.

This vessel is available in two colors, Brown, and Natural (undyed, golden brown). Please note that because every piece of leather is unique, the color of the vessel you receive may vary from the photo. Please specifiy the desired color when ordering. Most colors can ship from stock. However if not in stock, I will advise via email and offer available options.

Shipping is $12 fixed rate to the continental US. All others, please ask for a quote. Combined shipping rates are available and are quoted individually.
