WVaTumbleweed Vintage is pleased to present this Elegant vintage cocktail dress. A head turner in every aspect. The dress is made of taffeta & crepe. The taffeta is sewn into accent blocks forming the bodice of the dress. Crepe is used for the rest of the dress. Contrasting textures of the taffeta & crepe create visual intrest. The bodice is created to have the appearance of a surplice finish. It has short sleeves & a standard collar. The back of the dress has two sections that blouse out & flow nicely. The skirt is straight & sheer as it is a double layer of crepe. Be aware you CAN NOT get crepe wet or it will shrink. This is a DRY CLEAN Only dress. The original belt cinches the waist. Worthy of a Pinup Girl... 1st picture is lightened to show off details. The color in the later pictures is accurate - a dark navy blue.
