DR. SEUSS - handspun recycled yarn

Description

This is an uber-squooshy, soft and bulky handspun wool yarn. The base color is a brown/white mix, with liberal splashes of bright aqua, bright red, and olive green (reminds me of the colors in a Dr. Seuss book). It is a new handspun yarn made from 100% recycled content.

The stats:

Fiber: wool

Yarn weight: super bulky (5 wraps per inch - the number of times this yarn wraps around one inch of a ruler)

Gauge: 2 stitches/inch on size US 13 needles

Texture: two-ply

Care instructions: hand wash

Length per skein: at least 29 yards (multiple skeins available, sold individually)

Weight per skein: at least 2.25 oz./70g
