Spring Linen Mini Envelope Album

Description

This miniature accordion-style album is consists of five handmade envelopes made from acid and lignin-free scrapbook paper. I made the cover from heavy cardboard and covered it in scrapbook paper.

The outside cover is a medley of green blossoms by Beary Patch. The green ribbon is adhered to the front of the album so that you don’t have to worry about losing it! The closure is velcro, covered with a cream button. The inside “pages” are a natural beige linen print by Beary Patch. These colours remind me of sping time when the clotheslines all come out to hang in the sun and breeze! The envelopes feature white Bazzill cardstock inserts. You can: write your memoires there – facts about the photo or memories evoked or even wishes for the future!; or add ever more photos!; or remove the inserts and use the envelopes to house ACEO cards. Because it’s an accordion album, you can also put photos on the reverse side of the envelopes!

I recommend using clear, self-adhesive photo corners (not included) to mount your wallet-sized photographs, however, you could also use photo-safe double-sided tape in the corners of your photo.

This album can hold a maximum of 5 photos on the envelope side of the album; 4 photos on the reverse side of the album; 1 photo inside the front cover; and either 5 inserts or 5 photos inside the envelopes. This totals to a maximum of 10 display spots for photos and 5 hidden spots for either photos or journaling.

Alternatively, the album can house 5 ACEO cards inside the envelopes.

The album measures 4” by 3” and the envelopes are 3.75" by 2.75"
