I long to visit the birthplace of my uncle and cousins. A place where ancient traditions remain untouched from one generation to another. It is a culture in which cellphones, ipods, and other electronic gadgets still don't exist. It is a place where family secrets are hard to keep when there are grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles all living under one roof. A land inhabited by indigenous people, surrounded by turquoise colored seas. Upolu Island, Samoa, a place where time stands still.These leverback earrings are comprised of smoky quartz, turquoise, and sterling silver 925. They have been oxidized for a vintage patina, and then buffed for a nice sheen. Total length is 2 inches. They are large, chunky, and medium/heavy weight. Please see the matching bracelet.
