Bronze Astrophylite in copper

Description

This 50mm circular cabachon of Astrophylite has a dense clustering of bronze-like filiaments that almost obscures the whitish matrix. The difference is highlighted by the copper wire wrapping and being strung with bronzite buttons, smoky quartz and copper rings.

A word about the stone: Astrophylite

Astrophylite is a potassium, sodium, iron, manganese, titanium silicate with a hardness of 3.5. It is tan, brown, black and copper coloured with dramatic lines and star bursts of mica-like crystallizations.
