Crocheted Booklet - Roses Are Dead
Description
This 4" by 2 1/2" booklet features a jaded and perhaps a bit morose take on the classic "Roses are Red" rhymelet written out in crochet slip-stitch embroidery and illustrated with hand-crocheted applique motifs.The double sided pages are cushioned with craft felt and are bound together with a crocheted matrix that includes black and blue fire-polished, faceted glass beads.
The front cover bears a decorative field of the same style of glass beads that decorate the spine.
For those more cynical survivors of the game of love.
