The first of a series, this piece explores the question: what are we growing?

8” x 10” original encaustic (beeswax) mixed media painting on wood. Painting is mounted in a 9.5" x 12.5" wood float frame, measuring 2" deep (see second picture). The frame is finished with beeswax and is ready to hang to beautify your home. This piece was created by adding layers of colored wax, embedding tissue paper, incising, and lastly embedding some more. The last photo shows all three pieces in this triptych together.

Note on shipping: in order to keep shipping prices fair, for orders outside of the United States, I will send a paypal invoice for shipping after it has been calculated.
