Peter and his boat

Description

Our little sailor, Peter is off to play in the puddles that the rain had left. He has his new little boat that dad made him!

These little soft sculptures are based on drawings from my scrap book when I was 4 to 6 years old.

They are machine and hand sewn using calico and strong cotton thread.
The sculptures are hand painted with acrylic paint plus my secret ingredient to give it an aged appearance. A little bit of hand embroidery details on the face.

All works are protected with a coat of varnish which makes dusting these ornaments easy peasy!
On the bottom of the base are 4 little rubber feet and a Little Black Crow stamp of authenticity!

Pine base measures 5 x 3 x 1 inch.
Andrew measures 8.5 x 5 inches.
