Round Fur Flower Pillow - Reycled from Vintage Women's Fur Coats

This is our own original design, pieced from 100% genuine fur reclaimed from vintage fur coats. The pillow for sale here is the paler one, at left. (Please let us know if you'd rather have the darker one.) The pillow is painstakingly hand-pieced and hand-reinforced. It's made from rabbit and mink coats. The back side and the petals are rabbit petals while the internal pieces are pale mink. It has a hand-sewn finished closure. The 8-petal pillow is 15” in diameter and is made via the same method as our "Tribble" pillows. Unlike our tribbles, which contain foam, this is an all-new 100% duck feather insert. It's sturdy and surprisingly durable and will probably survive pillow fights. Minor spills are easily cleaned with a damp cloth - see "about coat check" on our own website for fur care (www.thecoatcheck.com). NOTE: rabbit naturally sheds a little more than other furs, but we opt to use it because its softness is unmatched. It sheds less than most pets, and most pets tend to leave it alone. Children love fur, and because our fur is recycled, it's relatively guilt free.

Round pillows provide a pleasing and visually interesting counterpoint to the rectilinear shapes of our living areas - all the square shapes of sofas, furniture and other pillows.

100% genuine reclaimed fur. Because we make everything from vintage coats, we often cannot make more than one or two pillows from a single coat, so larger sets may not be possible.
