Handmade 5-pointed star suncatcher. Each piece of glass is hand cut, grinded for a smooth edge, wrapped in a copper foil tape, soldered, patina applied and hand polished to a beautiful sheen with a carnauba wax.

There are 3 different types and colors of glass used: very nice turquoise glass, white wispy irridized glass and turquoise with white streaks also irridized. Attached at solder seams are glass beads for an interesting effect.

I save all my glass scraps, so I have many interesting color combinations.

This would make a great gift for anyone on your list. A nice way to display is above a mid-curtain in a bright window, maybe with 2 or more stars together. Start a collection and display anywhere for color variations.
