polka wellies handbound book

Description

the dimensions for this thai beauty handbound book are about 4 1/2" x 5 3/4", and about 7/8" thick.

the cover was bound with an adorable red with white polka dot paper. the white dots are flecked and the texture is awesome! a lovely thin cream colored ribbon with gold trim was placed in the spine to use as a bookmark, and eye-catching blue and white cotton headbands peek out below and above the spine. the inside of the covers are lined with white cardstock white pretty black floral lines that have been embossed... hooray for more texture!

the paper used is crisp embassy ampad black card stock. there are 10 signatures of 3 sheets each, to make a grand total of 120 pages. the signatures were stitched together with black upholstery thread using the kettle stitch method, and were then glued to several layers of cheesecloth material before being placed into the book. as a result, the pages will lay flat and you can write all the way into the margins!
