Ironically, just after finishing this piece I retrieved a monstrous stag beetle off my floor. These have always been the bane of my cats as they're almost 2" long and pinch curious cats on the nose. Crickets are much safer prey for my kitties.


ACEO 2.5X3.5 inches. 6.5X9 CM. (it appears bigger on screen than it actually is) Original charcoal drawing on bristol paper. Has been sprayed with a fixative to prevent smudging.
