Plastique/Fabrique Crocheted Rag Bag/ Jane

Description

This bag reminds me of the jungle. Its wild, but also chic. It looks like something Tarzan's girl Jane would wear.

This Jane is crocheted from upcycled cotton fabric that was shredded to bits by a wild animal(ok, it was carefully torn by my hands)Its lightweight, has tons of texture and feels really good.

Jane has bamboo handles that are almost 7 inches wide. The bag itself is about 13 inches wide and 9 inches tall. It is lined with black fabric that is securely tied into the bag, that way you can remove and wash the lining. I added some snazzy printed leopard ribbon to finsh it off.

Since Jane herself was originally a city girl I think she must have had a thing for handbags. This bag is versatile enough to go from city street to jungle vine!
