Plastique/Fabrique Crocheted Bag/ Charlotte

Description

This bag was inspired by a well known lady that lives in NYC and a great southern city. Both charming, pleasant and quite lovely.

The Charlotte bag was created from upcycled cotton fabric. The fabric was torn and cut to give it a shabby chic feel, then crocheted on a great big hook. The sewn in lining is made from one of the three fabrics used in the body. I have designed this bag with a velcro closure.

Wooden handles are firmly attached with Grosgrain ribbon and the ribbon's cut ends have been sealed a bit to prevent fraying. The size of the bag itself is about 13 inches wide by 9 inches tall.

Tour the city streets or stroll a southern path and look good either way.
