About the Bag:
The bag is made from organic cotton, which is softer and more light weight then your standard canvas tote. However, this bag can easily hold between 25 and 35 lbs. The bag measures 15" wide and 16.5" tall. It has also been hand-dyed this shade of deep green. Along with the light blue patch sewn on front, I have also sewn a pocket of the same color in the inside.

About the Octopus:
The Blue Ringed Octopus (Hapalochlaena maculosa) is the most dangerous cephalopod in the world! Its saliva is powerful enough to kill even a human! To catch its prey, the octopus can either spit into the surrounding water and wait for the poison to take effect, or it does it the old-fashioned way by catching, biting and injecting the prey directly. This octopus lives in the shallow waters of the tropical West Pacific and Indian oceans. It can be between 4 and 8 inches long.

About the Images:
The octopus and logo have been hand-carved into linoleum blocks and then hand-printed with an oil based ink onto the fabrics.
