CUSTOM -- Gift size copper map of your location

Description

This listing is for a custom hand-cut etched copper map of your choice! Map is a perfect 8x8" gift size (approx. 20.5 cm).

This beautiful map is inspired by your country, lake, river, or coastline. It is large enough to showcase your favorite location in crisp detail. Or, if you'd prefer something more abstract, it will use your location to inspire a piece of etched metal artwork with a story that only you will be able to tell.

The artwork is made from a solid plate background, in your choice of rich cherry red or deep teal blue. The cut copper surface is made from four pieces of copper plate, giving the map a faceted quality which catches the light beautifully.

So where do you start? It's easy -- I do all the design work for you. You simply name a place (where you live, a favorite vacation spot, where your parents were born...) and I'll send you an image for your approval. No cutting takes place til you love it!

Please allow 1-2 wks for your item to be created! Important deadline? Just let me know. *You may purchase this item in installments; please convo me. You'll pay 1/3 deposit at time of purchase, 1/3 upon approval of design, and 1/3 upon completion.*

Finished pieces are sealed with a glossy protective lacquer, and are mounted to float 3/4" (1.5 cm) away from the wall. They have a routed hanger and are simple to hang & display.

Your item will ship via priority mail. If you would like to ship as a gift, send me a note and I will include an insert with information about the piece.
